After a tragic automobile accident that left Randy both physically and mentally handicapped, his wife left him. Randy now depends on others to remain living at home. His Mom lives out of state, and Randy’s 21-year-old son lives in Houston, so Randy depends on daily visits from his nurse. This Father’s Day weekend, thirty-four Airmen made Randy’s dream come true by painting his home, installing exterior lighting , trimming trees and fixing his fence. The team came very close to finishing it all in one day; however, a team came back the following weekend for “touch-ups” and a bit of landscaping. The efforts of our volunteers saved Randy an estimated $10K, an impossibility on his disability income.
