As the sun shone brightly over North 7th St, the Dyess We Care Team felt an undeniable sense of purpose, fueled by the energy and enthusiasm of our dedicated volunteers who rallied together to revitalize this home. With each brushstroke, the old and in some cases exposed wooden walls transformed into a canvas of fresh coated paint, reflecting the spirit of community and hope. Though the day brought challenges with the thirsty wood demanding more paint, the determination of our team never wavered. This project is a testament to the power of collaboration, and we can’t wait to share the stunning final reveal that will showcase not just a beautifully painted house but also the love and hard work that went into making it a true home.
