In 2024, let’s defy the odds and make a lasting impact! Join the Dyess We Care Team as we close out our year (our year runs from July \u2013 June) in the most meaningful way. Our mission: to transform the home of a remarkable individual\u2014Robert, a 76-year-old disabled man who dedicated his life to serving others. From driving the AISD school bus for over two decades to entertaining troops with his music, Robert’s generosity knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

Now, it’s our turn to give back. With just ONE day, we aim to turn Robert’s modest home into a sanctuary he deserves. But we can’t do it alone\u2014we need YOU! Rally your friends, spread the word, and let’s build TWO solid shifts of volunteers. Under the leadership of SrA Richard Alfaro, we’ll not only paint walls but also paint a brighter future for Robert.<\/p>\n

Together, let’s prove that in a world where projects may end, the power of community and compassion endures. Join us, and let’s make 2024 a year to remember for Robert and for us all!<\/p>\n
