The Dyess We Care Team went back to school and spent this past Saturday providing assistance at Reagan Elementary School with the re-painting of the school’s “Bus” building, an educational facility painted to look like a school bus. In addition to the fresh coat of paint, students were in for a huge surprise when they returned to school Monday morning to find not one but TWO new playgrounds!
A total of 47 WCT volunteers gave up their Saturday to donate their time and talents to assist Reagan Elementary faculty members as well as Abilene Independent School District employees with the projects. We only wish we could have all been there Monday morning as the children of Reagan Elementary returned to school to witness the big smiles on their face.
