The Dyess We Care Team began tackling another paint makeover in the Abilene area.  The WCT began the early morning scraping the house in preparation for painting while other volunteers took care of the overgrown yard due the the much needed recent rains.

The lucky recipiant is a local preacher who undergoes dialysis three times a week. He said that he has prayed for someone to come help fix his home. He also turns 93 in the next couple of weeks! The WCT battled the Texas heat along with the numerous mesquitos, complimants ot the recent rains. Joining the WCT on the project were our good friends and Star Supporters, Honey Do Services.

Due to the amount of work required for this project the We Care Team was not able to complete the project in one day. Plans are to follow-up the following weekend with the goal of completing the project. Make sure to check back at a later time to see the completed project.
