The Dyess We Care Team volunteers turned out in full force today for the first house painting project of 2013. Almost 70 volunteers donated their time to help bring a dream come true for a very deserving family. With so many volunteers on site to tackle the job, the house painting project was completed by 2:00 PM. Volunteers also installed security lighting, a new mailbox and trimmed the trees away from the house. A1C Kevin Ellis was the team leader for the project. Michael Malm of Malm Construction also volunteered his talents and expertise to assist with the replacement of many of the dry-rotted boards. Lunch for the volunteers was provided by Jason’s Deli, proud sponsors of the Dyess We Care Team.
