SUMMARY:Ben Richey Boys Ranch Chili Super Bowl
DESCRIPTION:In 1982 several Abilene business men became aware of the need that existed at the Abilene Boys Ranch.  Since most of these “Good Ole Boys” were chili cookers\, it was decided that the way to raise money would be to have a chili cook off.  The Chili Super Bowl was born.\nAmazing transformations have happened at the Ranch since the beginning of the cook off.  The Boys Ranch has since been renamed Ben Richey Boys Ranch in memory of its founder.  The Ranch has grown to be able to house 34 young men who attend local school\, churches and are active in the community\nFriday\, August 29 – Sunday\, August 31\nThe Chili Super Bowl is located six miles south of Abilene on FM 89 at the Old Settlers Reunion Grounds in Buffalo Gap Texas.\nBen Richey Annual Chili Bowl Weekend\nChange a Child’s Future – Volunteer With Us!\nFrom Friday to Sunday\, we need passionate volunteers to help turn this event into a life-changing success! Whether you’re selling raffle tickets\, serving tea\, making quick ice runs\, or judging delicious food\, every task you take on will directly help good kids from tough situations.\nEvery single dollar raised will go toward giving these children the opportunities\, safety\, and hope they truly deserve.\nTeam Leader SrA Doc Weaver is leading the charge — and we’d love YOU on our team! Your time\, heart\, and energy will make a lasting difference.\nCome out\, lend a hand\, and help turn challenges into second chances. Together\, we can make something truly special happen!\n  \nCLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 15\, 2024\n741 Cockerell Drive\nBeginning at 9:00 am\n  \nIn 2024\, let’s defy the odds and make a lasting impact! Join the Dyess We Care Team as we close out our year (our year runs from July – June) in the most meaningful way. From driving the AISD school bus for over two decades to entertaining troops with his music\, Robert’s generosity knows no bounds. \nNow\, it’s our turn to give back. With just ONE day\, we aim to turn Robert’s modest home into a sanctuary he deserves. But we can’t do it alone—we need YOU! Rally your friends\, spread the word\, and let’s build TWO solid shifts of volunteers. Under the leadership of SrA Richard Alfaro\, we’ll not only paint walls but also paint a brighter future for Robert. \nTogether\, let’s prove that in a world where projects may end\, the power of community and compassion endures. Join us\, and let’s make 2024 a year to remember for Robert and for us all! \nClick Here To Volunteer
