Join us on Wednesday, the 15th and Thursday, the 16th, for a day of giving back at Hendrick Home for Children. We need volunteers throughout the day to help with “Dancing with the Abilene Stars”—an incredible event that raised over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS last year to provide care and opportunities for children in need.
By volunteering, you’ll not only make a direct impact on these kids’ lives but also receive a personal letter of appreciation from Hendrick Home President, sent directly to Colonel Spanier, recognizing your service and dedication.

THURSDAY: Serving as a host or hostess for Dancing with the Abilene Stars is a unique and prestigious opportunity to represent the United States Air Force with professionalism and pride. This role allows you to showcase exceptional military bearing while engaging with some of the most influential leaders and community members in Abilene. As the face of the event, you will set the tone for a memorable evening, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued, and fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and generosity. By embodying the Air Force’s core values and creating an enjoyable experience, you play a vital role in encouraging donations that support impactful causes, leaving a lasting impression of service and excellence.
