Once again the Dyess We Care Team provided volunteers and assistance for Project Graduation. This is an annual event of free, supervised all-night graduation party for students graduating from Abilene High School and Cooper High school. The ‘party’ runs from 9 p.m.to 5 a.m. at the Abilene Civic Center. Games, music, karaoke, and more will be available. Participants may bring one guest.
Once again the WCT hosted its annual wrestling matches where the 2 teams are coached by Dyess Airman. For the second year in a row the WCT also provided a photo booth where seniors and there guest could have there photos taken and have something to remember their graduation night. They have a choice of dressing up in a silly costume or not. New this year was each of the seniors were provided with a photo on the spot courtesy of the Dyess WCT, using it’s newly purchased dye-sublimation printer that will be utilized later on in the year for Help-Portrait Abilene. The photo above is just one of the many fun photos from the nights festivities. We’re already looking forward to next years big event!
