Tickets are now on sale the the Dyess We Care Team annual awards Banquet. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 at McMurry University Maybee Room beginning at 6:30 PM. This date just also happens to be the 12th anniversary of the WCT!
The menu is Chicken Wellington (with salad and sides) or Pasta with Sauteed Vegetables, coffee, tea AND dessert… The meal would normally cost almost $20. However, tickets for the event are only $5 for AB – SrA and $10 for all others. How do we do it?? Because of the generous donations from our good friends and sponsors at Star Cars of Abilene and Communities of Abilene Federal Credit Union. Also the first 75 volunteers (who have volunteered since July 2011) will receive a FREE WCT scrapbook, a $30 value!!
Tickets may be purchased Saturday, July 20 at the WCT Car Wash at Rosa’s Cafe located at 3333 Catclaw Drive. The car wash is scheduled from 1100 – 1600. If you can’t make it by the car wash you can also purchase tickets Tuesday, July 23 at the Base Communities of Abilene Federal Credit Union (across from bowling alley) from 1100 – 1300.
