Abilene Swim Club is a non-profit group providing afforable family fun and recreation. Our volunteers helped extend their limited budget by providing free labor. This project was lead by Amn Donavan Lavender and the lead capenter was A1C Dustin Osborne . First Project day – April 21st: Volunteers basically primed and painted everything white. Second Project day – April 28th: Volunteers still struggling with those darn picnic tables, but we got a LOT of color on the walls! Sadly, we didn’t finished, so we’re shooting for a half-day next Saturday. FINALLY, on May 5th, a dedicated team of 15 Airmen TACKLED THE TERRIBLE TABLES! Not only that, thanks to Double Diamond Signs we gave them a completely AWESOME new sign on their building!  To celebrate the completion of the project, the volunteers were treated to an ice cream social provided by our good friends at Cold Stone Creamery!
