The Dyess We Care Team held it’s 25th annual awards banquet at the MCM Elegante Suites. Star Auto Group was once again the proud sponsor for the banquet. Star had been a supporter since the inception of the Dyess We Care Team. Serving as MC for this year’s event was Sam Nichols, Chief Meteorologist at KTAB-TV and founder and president of Basketball Smiles. Several WCT members from years past traveled to attended this special 25th anniversary event.
As we reflect on the incredible milestone of the 25th annual Dyess We Care Team awards banquet, it’s heartwarming to see the impact of years of dedication and community spirit that have brought us all together in celebration. This special event not only highlighted the exceptional contributions of our volunteers but also reinforced the bond we share as a community, where each act of service creates a ripple effect of positivity. The laughter and camaraderie echoed throughout the MCM Elegante Suites, reminding us of the shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Together, we honor those who have selflessly given their time and energy, and we look forward to the continued journey of service, inspiration, and connection that lies ahead.
MCM Elegante Suites served a delicious meal along with the always popular desert provided by the Life of Pie. The awards were presented to our volunteers by SMSgt Chris Cline, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio and former WCT volunteer. A big Congratulations to all of this years winners and a big thank you for your service.
