The 17th annual Dyess We Care Team awards banquet was held August 17th at the MCM Elegante Suites.  The purpose of the banquet is to recognize the top WCT volunteers and supporters of the year.  This was a very busy year with numerous projects and fundraisers.  It was also a record breaking year for the number of volunteers that gave their time to volunteer for these project.

This years awards were presented by Colonel Brandon Parker, commander of the 7th Bomb Wing, Dyess Air Force Base.

Retiring base commander, Colonel David Benson, speaks to those volunteers in attendance at the 17th annual WCT awards banquet.  Col Benson was a big supporter of the We Care Team and could be often be seen volunteering his time along side the numerous young Airman, providing assistance to those that are in need in the Abilene area.  The Dyess We Care Team and the Abilene community will truly miss you.
