The Dyess WCT showed up in force to help the daughter of a WWII veteran. She is physically unable to do the work since she’s had cancer and hip problems. She is also unemployed at this time; although, she is actively seeking employment. She’s incredibly proud of her father’s military background, and she loves living in the same town as Dyess AFB.

The primary goal is to paint her home, trim trees and haul a dilapidated shed away to the city dump, and do some light landscaping. The hungry volunteers were treated to a box lunch provide by our good friends and Jason’s Deli.
